Wedding Ceremony

Wedding Ceremonies can be as quiet, discreet, elegant or large as you like. The point is you decide. Southwest Florida is well-known for its wide sand beaches and beach weddings. Did you realize that you can have a romantic sunrise or sunset wedding ceremony right on the beach? Perhaps your dream is a garden setting, a waterfront wedding gazebo, residence or yacht. You can even have your intimate wedding in our home. It is your wedding your way.

Our team can supply you with resources such as a sample ceremony to use "as is" or for you to personalize. Our Florida Wedding Services has contemporary, traditional, religious and spiritual wedding variations to share. We can even help you write your own unique ceremony, incorporating what is most meaningful for you. Include children, family, friends, rose petals, seashells, candles or something intimately special that reflects your uniqueness.

Share your vision with us and we will combine our ideas and resources to make your special day as stress free as possible.

Premarital counseling is not mandatory but always offered as an option in all our wedding packages.

Open 7:45 am - 5 pm (arrive early)

Wedding licenses are available to both Florida residents and non-residents.

They are valid for 60 days and issued immediately. ID is required (valid Driver's License or Passport).

No Blood test is required.

A three-day waiting period or 4 hours of premarital counseling is mandatory for Florida residents only. For out of state, Canadians and international visitors, there is no waiting period or counseling required.

You must both attend in person, bring picture ID (passport is acceptable).

If divorced, you need the date you were legally divorced.

Marriage License Fee is $93.50 payable to the local County. There is a $32.50 discount if you have taken a premarital counseling course from a registered provider.

The process usually takes 15-20 minutes.

Your responsibility is to present this license to the ceremony minister before the ceremony begins.

If one of you is a Florida resident, consider enhancing your marriage with premarital counseling. A four-hour course with a registered provider saves you $32.50 on the cost of your license.

In premarital counseling you can expect to discuss with each other issues around children, finances, family and other relationships, conflict management, career expectations, spirituality, role expectations and strengthening your love relationship. On line or At Home premarital Counseling Course. Marriage Preparation Course

♦ Procedure Sequence: Wedding Officiant or Wedding Minister
♦ Travels to and arrives at an agreed upon time at wedding ceremony location
♦ Discuses final procedures of the actual ceremony with representatives or bride and groom
♦ Takes marriage license from bride and groom
♦ Assures witnesses are available if required
♦ Celebrant takes her place to conduct the wedding ceremony
♦ Conducts the ceremony
♦ Signs the marriage license
♦ Obtains all signatures from witnesses on the license
♦ Signs a marriage certificate and obtains bride, groom and witnesses signatures
♦ Immediately makes a copy of marriage license for clergy's official records for future reference
♦ Gives a marriage certificate to bride and groom
(not government official licensing certificate that first goes to circuit court)
♦ Personally sends the executed license by return receipt mail to the Clerk of the Circuit Court
♦ Circuit Court sends executed document to bride and groom in approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

*Since it takes 3 to 4 weeks to process this document, you may need copies of your marriage license when you first pick it up to change your legal name after the wedding for bank accounts, driver's license, credit cards and passports.

Our Renewal of Vows is a beautiful ceremony but somewhat different in procedure.

Clothing: Wedding Celebrant will wear robes or attire suitable to what the bride and groom are wearing.
Bride and groom's attire can be formal, casual or any theme they decide upon.
